Capacity Development and Advisory Services
Tunisia

DPAD aims to assist policymakers in Tunisia with understanding the impact of MDG strategies. Capacity development activities were conducted with an aim to strengthen policymakers' analytical capacities to assess public policies and financing mechanisms that could put the country on track to achieve development goals.
The main national counterpart of the DPAD in Tunisia was the Ministry of Development and International Cooperation. The Regional Bureau for Arab States (RBAS) has also been a key partner for the implementation of the capacity development activities, in terms of funding and substantive and logistical support.
