11 November 2025 - As the world gathers in Belém, Brazil, for the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) from 10 to 21 November, the SDG Pavilion organized by UN DESA, will serve as a beacon for collaboration and innovation to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement in synergy.

The SDG Pavilion at COP30 will unite representatives from governments, civil society, science, the private sector, and more to advance integrated climate and sustainable development solutions for people and planet.

From Belem, the gateway to the Amazon, the Pavilion will host more than 100 events organized by various divisions in UN DESA and more than 120 partners from 90+ countries.

Highlights will include high-level dialogues, regional innovation showcases, and youth-led initiatives spotlighting how climate ambition and sustainable development can move forward hand in hand. All sessions will be streamed live on UN DESA’s YouTube channel and promoted on social media.

The two-week programme will explore key themes cutting across all the SDGs — from sustainable energy, clean transport, and resilient cities to healthy oceans, water security, nature-based solutions, and inclusive climate and development finance.

The SDG Pavilion will showcase practical, scalable actions that demonstrate how to turn global commitments, including the latest set of national climate plans, into local results. Make sure to check out the full programme on the SDG Pavilion COP30 website for more details.

As Secretary-General António Guterres urged at the Climate Summit 2025: “We must seize this moment of opportunity.” At COP30, the SDG Pavilion aims to do just that—transform ideas into action and chart better pathways for a sustainable future.
