Highlights from the United Nations on Climate Change and the Climate Action Summit.

Get your media accreditation

All members of the media covering the High-Level week must apply for accreditation by 2 September 2019 which provides access to the High-Level events at UNHQ.

Print journalists wishing to attend sessions of the Climate Action Summit and/or the Youth Climate Summit in the General Assembly Hall will require a separate ticket, in addition to the accreditation. More information about requesting these additional tickets will be shared with accredited media in September.

Photographers and videographers do not require separate tickets and will be escorted to designated media booths, where available.

Starting today, young people from around the world are formally invited to apply to participate in the United Nations Youth Climate Summit to take place at UN Headquarters in New York on 21 September. On 23 September 2019, the Secretary-General of the United Nations will host the Climate Action Summit in New York with the objective of boosting ambition and rapidly accelerate action to implement the Paris Agreement.
