哈米顿·阿里先生阁下（马来西亚）——2010年

简历

　　哈米顿·阿里阁下于2010年1月19日当选为经济及社会理事会第六十六任主席。阿里大使目前是马来西亚常驻纽约联合国代表、大使。在此之前，他曾任马来西亚驻印度尼西亚大使(2003-2005年)；马来西亚驻新加坡高级专员(2001-2003年)；马来西亚常驻联合国日内瓦办事处代表、大使(1996-2001年)。

　　阿里大使目前也是联合国人口奖委员会主席。他曾任联合国大会第六十二届会议负责管理和预算的第五委员会的主席，并在2008年担任联合国儿童基金会(儿童基金会)副主席。他曾任不结盟运动协调局和东盟纽约委员会主席，并在2006-2007年担任联合国森林论坛副主席。在日内瓦时，哈米顿·阿里大使也是马来西亚驻世界贸易组织(世贸组织)和联合国裁军谈判会议大使。他曾任亚洲人权集团协调人、伊斯兰会议组织集团主席、15国集团代表工作组主席、世贸组织英联邦发展中国家集团主席、贸发会议亚洲集团主席、劳工组织亚太集团主席，也曾任第三世界网出版的《南北发展监测》的咨询委员会成员。哈米顿·阿里大使在素帕猜·巴尼巴滴博士当选世贸组织总干事前的助选活动中主持“素帕猜博士之友”小组。 

　　作为职业外交官，哈米顿·阿里大使还在马来西亚驻巴黎、北京和东京代表团担任过各种职务。1991-1996年期间，他还曾担任负责亚太经合组织和环印联盟等多边和区域问题的第一副部长，并曾多次代表马来西亚出席东盟、环印联盟和亚太经合组织的会议。

　　哈米顿·阿里大使毕业于莫纳什大学和哈佛大学。由于其出色服务曾获以下嘉奖：

　　马来西亚国王授予Darjah Panglima Jasa Negara(PJN)勋章，获联邦拿督衔；
　　吉兰丹州苏丹授予Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Terbilang(S.P.S.K.)勋章，获州拿督衔；
　　柔佛州苏丹授予Darjah Yang Mulia Mahkota Johor(DPMJ)勋章，获州拿督衔；
　　彭亨州苏丹授予Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang(DIMP)勋章，获州拿督衔；
　　马来西亚国王授予Kesatria Mangku Negara(KMN)勋章；
　　智利共和国政府授予Bernado O’Higgins勋章。

　　哈米顿·阿里大使的妻子是Datin Amy Low Abdulah，育有二子。
