78th session (2023) – Consideration of decolonization items

On 7 December 2023, the General Assembly considered the reports of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) on agenda items concerning decolonization (items 54-58, for details concerning decolonization items and the Fourth Committee’s consideration for decolonization items, see the corresponding Fourth Committee page). In the same meeting, the General Assembly adopted a total of 21 resolutions and one decision, as recommended by the Fourth Committee in its reports (see below table).
