70th session (2015) – Consideration of decolonization items

On 9 and 23 December 2015, the General Assembly considered the reports of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) on agenda items concerning decolonization (items 59-63, for details concerning decolonization items and the Fourth Committee’s decolonization segment, see the corresponding Fourth Committee page). In those meetings, the General Assembly adopted a total of 11 resolutions and one decision, as recommended by the Fourth Committee in its reports (see below table).
