63rd session (2008) – Consideration of decolonization items
On 5 December 2008, the General Assembly considered the reports of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) on agenda items concerning decolonization (items 33-37, for details concerning decolonization items and the Fourth Committee’s decolonization segment, see the corresponding Fourth Committee page). In the same meeting, the General Assembly adopted a total of 10 resolutions and one decision, as recommended by the Fourth Committee in its reports (see below table).
