The Poetry for Peace contest was held from 15 September until 14 October 2011. The winners were anounced at a ceremony at UN headquarters in New York.
Below is one of the contest entries.
We are all one. It's all one. Our past and the future and the now are all one line divided in names that I refuge to accept any more. Future and past, our ingenious inventions exist only to confuse us and burden us with feelings and guilts that do not exist. Run brother , run and at the same time stay still and try to listen to what your heart says, try to see what your heart shows you , open your heart and accept what life really is Peace , Love , Harmony Eat from my food drink from my drink and you will see that I am you and you are me. We are all one.
