Below is one of the contest entries.

                                    In The Red Waves

The sky is painted a bloody scarlet
                                         Red. Red. Red,
                                       Red with Blood...
                                     With our own blood
                              Bodies laying on the ground
                                    Helpless.... Terrified
A Young child calling for her mother
What is the matter with us?
What is the matter with mankind?
                                Why destroy, Why slaughter?
Why paint the grounds with the horrible shade of Red?
                                   Why not join hands
                                         We are all people.
We can all love and hurt
Gather the magnificent shade of Love
And Paint the World with Peace.
