The Poetry for Peace contest was held from 15 September until 14 October 2011. The winners were anounced at a ceremony at UN headquarters in New York.

Night light of a bomb You saw the past of Japan Burdened with graveyards And the graveyards grow And there are wars tears cries Prayer to the Sun A cloud through a brook Officers of eternal will A premonition You are all these things A forest stream a warm night Japan's history A ghost-breath lights up Compliments to the victor Japan's mothers dream
