The Seventh Review Conference decided that how to enable fuller participation in the CBMs would be one of two Biennial Agenda Items to be addressed during the 2012–2015 intersessional programme. In accordance with the decision of the Seventh Review Conference, this particular item was considered at the Meetings of Experts and Meetings of States Parties in 2012 and 2013.
