Templates for the projection of demographic components and related scenarios
The Population Division has released a set of MS-Excel workbooks for the projection of different demographic components of population change, that is, (a) the total fertility rate, (b) life expectancy at birth, and (c) the net number of migrants. The workbooks allow users to generate different projection scenarios. Each workbook includes a brief description of the template as well as guidelines for users.
