The UN JPO Programme at the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA)/ Capacity Development Office recruits and administers JPOs for the UN Secretariat (all UN departments and offices) and its entities.
As of February 2017, the UN JPO Programme @DESA is managing and supporting the assignments of: •193 JPOs •from 18 donor countries and with 22 nationalities •33% male and 67% female •assigned to 27 duty stations around the world •working for more than 30 different UN Departments/Offices including Regional Commissions and Peacekeeping Missions
