On 6 June the President of the General Assembly transmitted a letter from his Advisers, on the consultation process concerning the ways to enable the participation of indigenous peoples’ representatives and institutions in meetings of relevant United Nations bodies on issues affecting them, containing the second revised text for the upcoming negotiations scheduled for 9 June 2017. Further information on the participation of indigenous peoples at the UN is available here.
