It was prepared by the Office of the Special Adviser on Gender and Advancement of Women and the Secretariat of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

Mairin Iwanka Raya, Indigenous Women Stand against Violence: The International Indigenous Women’s Forum (FIMI) prepared a companion Report to the UN Secretay- General’s study on Violence against women. This report aims to incorporate a diverse array of Indigenous women’s experiences dealing with violence from different generations, regions, and communities around the world.
