Subcommittee on the Relationship of Tax, Trade and Investment Agreements

Mandate:

The Subcommittee is mandated to:

• Identify priority issues where guidance from the Committee may most usefully assist developing countries in differing situations, in particular, on the relationship of tax with investment and trade agreements, and initially report to the Committee on such issues at its Twenty-fourth Session in 2022;
• Within the above context, make proposals for consideration by the Committee, with a view to providing guidance at various points during the current Membership of the Committee.

The Subcommittee may consult broadly, taking into account relevant work by other bodies in this area.
