60th Session of the Commission for Social Development – CSocD60

CIFOR/Ollivier Girard International Mother Earth Day is celebrated annually on 22 April.

The 60th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD60) will take place from 7 to 16 February 2022  at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development.

Inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 for sustainable livelihoods, well-being and dignity for all:  eradicating poverty and hunger in all its forms and dimensions to achieve the 2030 Agenda.

  • EGM on “Inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 for sustainable livelihoods, wellbeing and dignity for all: eradicating poverty and hunger in all its forms and dimensions to achieve the 2030 Agenda”: In preparation for the CSocD60, UNDESA convened a virtual Expert Group Meeting on the priority theme on 29 – 30 July and 2 – 3 August 2021
