On 10 July 2014 Committee for Development Policy (CDP) member Professor Jose Antonio Alonso participated at ECOSOC's High-level Meeting of the Development Cooperation Forum as panelist at the theme of “The critical role of ODA in development cooperation post-2015”.

The 2014 High-level Meeting of the Development Cooperation Forum was held from 11 to 12 July 2014, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and addressed the overall theme of “Bringing the future of development cooperation to post-2015”. It brought together high-level representatives of UN Member States, civil society actors, including non-governmental organizations, academia and the private sector, and the UN system.
