UN DESA is committed to work in partnership with other development actors to ensure a more coherent, comprehensive and effective delivery of capacity development support to Member States for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda.

UN DESA already partners with a wide array of government and non-government institutions, including academic and research institutes, civil society organizations, and private professional associations in a variety of areas, from data collection and analysis, to the formulation and dissemination of economy-wide and other modelling tools.

As a member of the United Nations Development Group (UNDG), UN DESA is especially committed to working with the UN Regional Commissions and other UN system entities, both at Headquarters and in the field.
