On 1 December 2009, the United Nations - The Nippon Foundation of Japan Fellows
currently undertaking their second-phase placement at the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea,
Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations, met with
Ms. Patricia O'Brien, Under-Secretary-General and The Legal Counsel of the United Nations,
to discuss their Law of the Sea and Ocean Affairs research.
