Mbom Sixtus is a general assignment reporter with the Cameroon Tribune, a publication of the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation. He is also a correspondent for Deutsche Presse-Agentur, and a regular contributor of The New Humanitarian. In addition to these publications, his stories have appeared in Al Jazeera, Inter Press Service, Quartz, African Arguments, China Africa Magazine and the Thomson Reuters Foundation. His reporting has covered diverse topics, including human rights, corruption, conflict, climate change, culture and global development. During the Fellowship, Mbom plans to focus on climate finance, the United Nations' role in promoting conflict-resolution and sustainable development in Cameroon, and the fight against violent extremism in the Lake Chad Basin.
