Critical ERP Milestone Tuesday, 13 October 2015

The United Nations deployment of its global ERP system, known as Umoja, will reach a critical milestone as the system will be fully deployed at HQ, Geneva, Santiago, and more than 60 other locations on 1 November 2015.

This migration will remove any dependencies on our legacy finance and procurement systems, and represents a significant step forward for the Organization as it moves towards a single, holistic ordering system. The migration requires a 3 week blackout of finance systems beginning 15 October 2015, and ending on 7 November 2015.Read full story...

2014 Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement has been published Thursday, 30 July 2015

The Annual Statistical Report on Procurement by United Nations organizations (ASR) is a publication that has been produced by UNOPS for the last 31 years.

The 2014 report compiles information from 35 agencies in total, increasing the number of 2013. This year the report includes information provided by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO).Read full story...

2013 Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement now available Tuesday, 15 July 2014

With the collaboration of 33 UN agencies providing their own procurement information, UNOPS has published the 2013 Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement.

The overall procurement volume of UN organizations during 2013 increased to US$16.1 billion from US$15.4 billion in 2012.

UNPD (US$ 2.997 billion), UNICEF (US$ 2.741 billion), UNDP (US$ 2.269 billion) and WFP (US$ 2.477 billion) are topping the list and together account for 65% of the total procurement volume of UN organizations...Read full story...
