It has been brought to our attention that organizers of trade fairs and exhibitions purport to have secured the participation of the United Nations in such events in order to entice vendors to attend for a fee. Vendors are advised that the UN system of organizations does not participate in for profit procurement trade fairs. Vendors are encouraged to consult with the United Nations to confirm its participation in such endeavours prior to making a commitment.
