Ad Hoc Working Group of the Whole on the Regular Process for Global Reporting and Assessment of the State of the Marine Environment, including Socio-economic Aspects

The third meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group of the Whole on the Regular Process for global reporting and assessment of the state of the marine environment, including socio-economic aspects, will take place from 23 to 27 April 2012, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 66/231 of 24 December 2011, paragraph 208.

Invitations
Invitations to the meeting will be sent in mid-February 2012.

Working documents
The provisional agenda, format, and annotated provisional agenda as well as information for participants will be posted on this website in due course.

Side events
Requests for bookings of lunch time side events (1:15 to 2:45pm) may be addressed to the Secretary of the Regular Process, Ms. Rosenboom, at rosenboom@un.org, with a copy to doalos@un.org, between 10 January and 30 March 2012, indicating the title, organizing institution(s) and preferred date for the event. The schedule of the side events will be circulated by the Division shortly thereafter.

Due to the limited number of available dates, the Division may not be able to accommodate all requests for side events. In that case, the Division may suggest the holding of joint side events, or may decide that some side events need to be given preference in order to ensure a variety of the topics covered.
