Designations of an appropriate authority by States parties – article 21, paragraph 4, of the Agreement

Pursuant to article 21, paragraph 4, of the Agreement, at the time of becoming a party to the Agreement, a State shall designate an appropriate authority to receive notifications pursuant to article 21 and shall give due publicity to such designation through the relevant subregional or regional fisheries management organization or arrangement.

This page sets out information received by the United Nations from States parties in respect of their designations of an appropriate authority. The publication of this information is for information purposes only and is without prejudice to the obligations of a State party as set out in article 21, paragraph 4, of the Agreement.
