Geographic Resources and Information
Working Group
The UN Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (GGIM) aims at playing a leading role in setting the agenda for the development of global geospatial information and to promote its use to address key global challenges.

The United Nations Geographical Information Working Group was established in March 2000.

The Map Collection houses over 80,000 maps, some 3,000 atlases, gazetteers, travel guides, cartographic and geographic reference works as well as digital cartographic products.
