In his first ever Google+ Hangout, the Envoy on Youth discussed his role and workplan for the first year, as well as the UN worked with and for young people.
The Hangout was held with the participation of Executive Coordinator of United Nations Volunteers Mr Richard Dictus and Mr. Prateek Awasthi, Co-chair of the Inter-Agency Network on Youth Development (IANYD).
In addition, three young participants took part in the event: Mr/ Lloyd Russel-Moyle, vice-President of the European Youth Forum, Ms. Danae Espinoza, Project Manager at the Integrated Platform for Sustainable Development (PIDES), and Ms. Rime Asselman, youth advocate and consultant at UN-Habitat.
