The International Day of Happiness was established in 2012 by the United Nations General Assembly to celebrate unity and call on the international community to recognize the need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well-being of all peoples.

The UN recognises happiness as a fundamental human goal, an inherent aspiration that lies at the core of every person around the world. On International Day of Happiness, the UN invites everyone to play a role in raising public awareness of the aspirations of all human beings to be happy.

The campaign has been made possible with the support of MixRadio
