A global meeting in Azerbaijan is expected to generate what has been described as a “new push” for government to adopt youth-friendly policies around the world.

About 700 youth delegates from around the world are gathering in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan for the first ever Global Youth Forum on Youth Policies from 28 to 31 October.

Participants in the meeting include experts and government officials to discuss how to formulate policies to tackle the challenges facing young people, including unemployment.
