Do you want to help ensure that youth priorities are reflected in the post-2015 development agenda? Perhaps you are member of an organisation that has already answered the call for the Global Partnership for Youth in the Post-2015 Development Agenda (#GPY2015)? Since the call was made less than two weeks ago, approximately 1,100 organisations from across the globe have registered to join this partnership. As announced by the Secretary-General in his remarks to the General Assembly on 17 January 2014, the crowdsourcing platform will be officially launched by the President of the General Assembly this coming Tuesday, 18 February.

If your organisation has not yet joined, sign up online. Also as a young individual, you can take part in the crowdsourcing and have your say. More information is available here.

Partnering with UN entities, international NGOs, youth-led organisations, national youth councils, youth groups and stakeholders, this initiative offers all involved from around the world to identify and formulate what they think should be included in the post-2015 development framework pertaining to youth. Under the five thematic areas Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Health, Good Governance, and Peace and Stability, the partnership will work to identify youth priorities, and advocate for these to be reflected in the post-2015 development agenda.
