On 25 April 2013 the UN Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth spoke at a Public Policy event organized by the Strategic Centre for International Studies and the International Youth Foundation, and hosted by Dr. Nicole Glodin, Director, Youth, Prosperity and Security Initiative Project on Prosperity and Development. Mr. Alhendawi discussed his new role, and how the United Nations is promoting youth engagement and development around the globe.
