- I hereby give permission to the United Nations to use in perpetuity my message for peace (“My Message”) as a participant in this text-messaging campaign “text 4 peace.”
- I authorize and give full consent to the United Nations to publish my message in any medium in perpetuity.
- I warrant that I am responsible for paying the operator charges to use this sms messaging service, or if I am a minor, I have the permission of an adult responsible for paying the operator charges to use this sms messaging service.
- I acknowledge that each individual text message of 160 characters or less sent to the short code referred to on this website within one of the participating countries will incur a price established by the respective mobile phone company.
- I shall not use the sms messaging service in any unlawful manner, not in any manner likely to injure, offend or become a nuisance to any person.
- I shall indemnify, hold and save harmless, and defend, at my own expense, the United Nations, its officials, agents, servants and employees from and against all suits, claims, demands, and liability of any nature or kind, including their costs and expenses, arising out of, or related to My Message and the use of this sms messaging service.. My obligations under this paragraph do not lapse upon termination of the sms campaign “text 4 peace.”
