Topics for Discussion

The dialogue focused on the following five topics:

1. ACCESS: Access to and quality of health services -
   Are all women (for example women of different ages, ethnicities and income groups) getting equal access to quality health care?
2. PROMOTION: Health education and promotion -
   How do women learn about staying healthy? About appropriate health care?
3. EDUCATION: Medical education and research -
   Is there a male bias? What changes are needed?
4. NURSING: Is nursing a neglected profession?
5. HEALTH REFORM: Reform of the health sector -
   Is it happening and how? Who benefits? Who loses?
