Pediatrician, specialized in maternal and infant health; worked in women's health project of the municipality of Sao Paulo; founding member of the Commission on Studies on Violence against Women, Ministry of Justice; coordinater of Brazilian National Feminist Network for Health and Reproductive Rights; member of the Coletiva Feminista Sexualidade e Saude, Sao Paulo (Brazil).
