Getting more attention to gender perspectives and the goal of gender equality in medium-term plans and programme budgets in the UN system is crucial to moving forward with gender mainstreaming.

Workshop will include presentation and discussion of a three-phase project to develop knowledge and skills to mainstream gender perspectives into programme budget processes.
