At the Spanish Senate in Madrid, UNIFEM and the International Women's Commission (IWC), with the support of the Government of Spain, are sponsoring a two-day, high-level colloquium on 1–2 June to highlight the often overlooked dimension of women’s leadership in the resolution of the conflict. This meeting is particularly relevant as the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 marks its 10th anniversary.
