Q: What are the options for purchasing food at the UN Visitors' Centre?

A: Currently, it is possible to buy snacks and beverages at vending machines in the Visitors' Centre.

 

Q: Is photography permitted?

A: Yes, the use of photography (cameras, camera phones, video equipment) and cellular phones is permitted.  However, depending on the meetings taking place, your tour guide might indidicate that photography is not permitted in certain chambers. 

Q: Is there a coatroom?

A: No, there is no coatroom available in the Visitors Centre.

 

Q:  If tickets available for online purchase are sold out for a specific day, does that mean that all tours are sold out?

A:  A limited number of tickets are available for online purchase.  If online tickets sell out, that in no way indicates that the rest of the tours for that day have sold out.

 

Q:  If I do not have cash, is there an ATM that I can use?

A: Yes.  There is an ATM downstairs in the Visitors' Services Centre.

 

Q:  If I want to request a tour in a language other than English, what should I do?

A:  You should call 212-963-7539 starting at 10am on the day that you want to take the tour.  If available, the tour-coordinator will make a reservation for you.
