In the following interview, Robert Orr, the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Strategic Planning and current Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force Chair, discussed the broad achievements of the UN strategy at the five-year mark. Mr. Orr also responded to questions about what ramifications recent events such as the death of Al-Qaeda’s leader Osama bin Laden and the outbreak of the Arab Spring could have on the world’s efforts against terrorism.
