Human Rights Council side events prove to be great success in Geneva 14 June 2013
Geneva (UNOSDP)- The Human Rights Council side event was organized by the Permanent Missions of the Russian Federation, Brazil, Greece and the Republic of Korea. The event was aimed at promoting awareness, understanding and application of human rights principles through sport and Olympic Ideals.  
UN-IOC Forum ends with calls for International Day of Sport and Physical Activity 14 June 2013
New York (UNOSDP)- Last week the 3rd International Forum on Sport for Peace and Development came to a close in New York. The two day event at the United Nations Head Quarters from 5 to 6 June 2013 was concluded as a great success by the UN Special Adviser, Mr. Wilfried Lemke.
