Ban Ki-moon Urges Countries to Ratify New Kyoto Amendment 21 February 2013
13 February—UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is urging countries to swiftly ratify the Doha Amendment, adopted last December, in which governments agreed to a second commitment period for the Kyoto Protocol.
