1. When will the 2011 Citizen Ambassadors Contest be held?
This year's contest will start on 8 August and end on 8 September. All entries must be received by 8 September, 2011, at 11:59 p.m. New York (Eastern Standard) time to be eligible.

2. Can anyone participate in the video contest?
Anyone aged 18+ can participate in the video contest as long as they are not UN staff or interns (past or current), and the submitted video abides by both rules and regulations of the contest itself.

3. Is there an age limit to participate in the video contest?
While there is no maximum age limit, participants need to be at least 18 years old on the day that they enter the contest. For example, if you are 17 now but will turn 18 on September 9, 2011, you will need to wait until next year to participate.

4. When will the results be announced?
The 2011 winners will be announced in October.

5. What are the general guidelines of the contest?
The 2011 rules and guidelines are currently being finalised and will be posted here as soon as they are available. Video length must be under 30 seconds.
