-- A Photo Contest for UN Chronicle's Facebook Audience
Images help convey world issues. The UN Chronicle conducted a photo competition exclusively for its Facebook audience to bring attention to the importance of education. See the slide show of the winning shots among more than two hundred submissions (right). Entries depicted how education leads to improved quality of life, gender equality, eradication of poverty, promoting intercultural dialogue. Contestants were given the following themes:
