PARTICIPANTS

The conference will convene around 200 experts, local government officials, media specialists, key water operators, political representatives of cities and stakeholder groups from four continents. International agencies represented will include UN-Water members and partners including UN-Habitat and its Global Water Operators’ Partnership Alliance (GWOPA), the International Hydrological Programme of UNESCO (IHP), the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), and the UN-Water Decade Programme on Advocacy and Communication. The general public of the host city will also be encouraged to participate through three open evening sessions.
