09 de enero, 2015 — La Misión de la ONU en Mali (MINUSMA) condenó el ataque a sus cascos azules cometido esta mañana cerca de la pista de aterrizaje de Kidal, al noroeste del país, cuando uno de sus vehículos golpeó un artefacto explosivo. La agresión dejó heridos a siete efectivos senegaleses, que fueron evacuados de la zona. 11 January 2015 – Outraged in the wake of an attack by Jahbat Al-Nusra which caused numerous deaths and injuries in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli, the United Nations Security Council has strongly condemned the incident and expressed its determination to combat terrorism on all fronts. In a press statement issued today in New York, Council members expressed their condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the people and Government of Lebanon. 9 January 2015 – Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today visited the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations to offer, on behalf of the Organization, his condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack on the offices of French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, in which 12 people were killed. 8 January 2015 – The United Nations agency tasked with defending freedom of expression, in solidarity with France, joined the country today in mourning those killed in the deadly attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine.
