Internship Opportunities at UNRWA headquarters and field offices A limited number of unpaid internships are offered each year in the Agency’s Headquarters in Amman, Jordan, and in four of its five field offices - Amman, Beirut, Damascus and Jerusalem. Due to the security situation in Gaza, UNRWA will not be offering any internship opportunities. The duration of an internship is from three to a maximum of six months. If you are interested in applying for an internship, please send a copy of your curriculum vitae and a covering letter to unrwa-ahr@unrwa.org clearly stating the objective of the internship and in which UNRWA field you are interested. Internship Opportunities at UNRWA Representative Offices Unpaid internship opportunities are also open at the Representative Office Geneva, Representative Office New York and Liaison Office Brussels, for a minimum duration of three months and a maximum of six. The positions are available on a part-time or full-time basis, and may be renewed subject to requirements of the office. Interns will contribute to UNRWA's inter-agency, non-governmental and donor liaison tasks, as well as public information work, and provide other support as needed. The internships provide a valuable opportunity for incumbents to familiarise themselves with substantive humanitarian and development policy issues and the UN system. Applications are welcome from bachelor degree holders. (In New York, applicants must be enrolled in a master’s degree programme.) Applications should include a cover letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae and a short writing sample on a relevant subject. Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement. Only candidates under consideration will be contacted. Submissions, by fax, should be addressed as follows: Representative Office Geneva and Liaison Office Brussels: + 41 22 917
