Duty Station information

International staff of UNRWA can be assigned to the following duty stations: Gaza, Jerusalem, Amman, Beirut, Damascus.

Gaza is currently a non-family duty station. An element of compensation is paid for the maintenance of a second household. Spouses may reside with the staff member in Gaza but not children. Where spouses choose to reside in Gaza no allowance for a second household is payable.

All other duty stations have family status, and schooling facilities for children of all age groups are available.
