A Friend of UNRWA Fundraises for Beit Hanoun Toy Library
To date, Ms. Bhargava has raised US$ 9,153 for the Beit Hanoun Toy Library and hopes to raise an additional US $ 3,155 so that UNRWA can complete the project. UNRWA greatly appreciates Ms. Bhargava’s contribution and hopes that her commitment will be followed by that of others who wish to improve the lives of Palestine refugee children.

UNRWA would like
to express its gratitude to Antra Bhargava, a concerned citizen to the
cause of the Palestine Refugees. Bhargava devoted time and energy to
fundraising within her community in Ireland for the benefit of the Beit
Hanoun Toy Library located in the north of the Gaza Strip. Her generous
contribution will help UNRWA purchase toys and equipment and provide
children the opportunity to have a safe and enjoyable place to play in
Beit Hanoun, a town which has been severely affected by Israeli military
activity.
