Palestinian children and families are often so overwhelmed with the consequences of the current crisis in the West Bank and Gaza that they tend to forget about the importance of play. Play allows children to explore, manipulate and absorb information about their internal and external worlds. A well-equipped toy library will give Palestinian children the opportunity to play with their favorite toys, which will go a long way towards helping them develop feelings of accomplishment, security and belonging.
