ADVISORY COMMISSION
OF THE UNITED NATIONS RELIEF AND WORKS AGENCY

Created by UN Resolution 302 (IV), today the Advisory Commission (AdCom) is made up of 21 Members and 3 Observers. The AdCom meets several times a year to discuss issues of importance to UNRWA, striving to reach consensus and provide advice and assistance to the Commissioner-General of the Agency. Members and Observers meet regularly in Sub-Committees, where they aim to provide recommendations for the consideration of the Advisory Commission.

HOSTS AND DONORS MEETING
OF THE UNITED NATIONS RELIEF AND WORKS AGENCY

The Hosts and Donors Meeting (HDM) is an annual meeting of the Agency’s donor community as well as authorities that host Palestine refugees. In recent years, UNRWA has also invited non-governmental organizations and United Nations Agencies to participate. The HDM brings stakeholders together with a view to a greater understanding of key UNRWA initiatives, the unique challenges it faces and to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation.
