Global Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability Seminars - Companies exploring new routes as corporate citizens to create sustainable opportunity

On 23-24 October 2007 executives from around the world gathered to explore Corporate Responsibility on the cusp of extraordinary change and opportunity at the Conference Board’s Global Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability Seminars in New York. The themes of the two seminars were ‘Leading 21st Century Corporate Citizenship’ and ‘Taking a Giant Leap Toward Sustainability’. Amir Dossal, Executive Director of the UN Office for Partnerships, participated in the first seminar, giving a keynote speech and discussing how corporate leaders are partnering to expedite progress in areas as for instance education, environmental sustainability and international development.
